A small producer of pumpkin seed in Styria, an Austrian province, had promoted pumpkin seeds in blue sugar coating under the brand STYRIAGRA. After having suffered a defeat against an infringement claim filed by Pfizer as trademark owner of the well-known trademark VIAGRA, we took over the case to take it to the Austrian Supreme Court, where it is currently pending. The Court will decide whether STYRIAGRA is an admissible trademark parody on VIAGRA. The case receives large media attention in Austria.
